Biography

About the artist

He doesn’t just perform the song. He lifts the whole room.

Túndé Ọmọméjì is a recording artist, songwriter and music director whose sound brings together the spirit of gospel, the infectious rhythms of highlife and Afrobeat, and the depth of jazz and soul. With a gift for turning music into an experience, he creates songs that move people to sing, dance, worship and celebrate. From the uplifting energy of “Gbega” to the soulful appeal of “LOML”, his music reflects an artist equally at home in joyful celebration and heartfelt expression.

As a live performer, Túndé brings musical excellence, conviction and a natural command of the stage. Whether leading a congregation in worship or delivering a dynamic concert performance, he understands how to connect with an audience, build momentum and create moments that stay with people long after the music stops.

Behind the scenes, his expertise as a music director extends far beyond the stage. He shapes the entire musical experience, from song selection and arrangement to medleys, transitions, rehearsals and live execution. With a keen ear for detail and an instinctive understanding of musical dynamics, he brings musicians together into a cohesive, expressive unit, creating performances that are polished, powerful and alive, for gospel and mainstream artists alike.

With over two decades of experience serving artists, churches and live events across Nigeria and the United Kingdom, Túndé brings together musicianship, leadership and practical industry knowledge. His understanding of the craft extends to the instruments themselves: as the founder of Wavex Pro, he has built specialist expertise in professional keyboard restoration, deepening his technical understanding of the tools that shape live music.

At the heart of everything he does is a commitment to musical excellence, authentic expression and performances that leave a lasting impression.
